Kendriya Vidyalaya Tehran (KVT) , was established in the
year 2004 under the patronage of Embassy of India.
It has classes from pre-primary (LKG & UKG) to XII
Standard (Pre- University); over 200 students are on
its rolls, including wards from other Embassies such
as Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, Iraq, Kenya,
Malaysia, Nepal, Nigeria, Romania, South Africa, Sri
Lanka, and Thailand . Medium of instruction is
English, however , Hindi, Persian, Punjabi and
French are also taught.
Kendriya Vidyalaya Tehran is affiliated to the
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi,
which is the premier Examination Board in India.
Recognized in India and abroad. The Pass Certificate
of AISSE and AISSCE are equivalent to ‘O’ and ‘A’
level respectively
